Knocking-in a bat is an essential process to enhance performance and extend its lifespan. Cricket bats are valuable equipment, and proper care is crucial. A well-knocked bat can reduce the chances of cracking by up to 80%.
Hand knocking with a wooden mallet usually takes around 18–20 hours. To save our customers time and effort, Cricket + Football Shop utilises a fully automated machine to professionally prepare bats. Your bat can be ready in approximately One Hour.

Our machine features modern technology with preset knock settings to ensure complete preparation. Moving rollers cover all key areas — toe, edges, and blade — for even compression. Each new bat receives 15,000 knocks, meaning no further knocking-in is required afterwards.

Warranty Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee or exchange on unused products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we will assist you. Returned/exchanged items must be unused, in original condition, and in the packaging they arrived in.

Return/exchange postage costs are the responsibility of the sender. Please include details of the product you would like in exchange. Processing will begin once the returned item is received.
If the return is due to an error on our part, we will cover return shipping.
