If you need to make a warranty claim, repair, or exchange, please ensure your bat or gear is
securely packaged for transport. Cricket + Football Shop is not liable for any damage
that may occur during transit.

Please make sure to clearly mention your full name, invoice/order number, and contact
number on the package.
Don’t forget to keep your proof of purchase for all warranty, repair, or exchange claims.
Warranty Terms
Cricket bats are crafted from willow - a natural material - and are repeatedly struck by a hard cricket ball. As a result, minor wear, dents, or small cracks are perfectly normal and do not affect performance. We recommend fitting an Extratec for low-maintenance care and
increased durability.
Regular maintenance is essential for extending your bat’s life. Please avoid using your bat
against bowling machines, as consistent use can cause severe damage. A lower-grade bat
is always recommended for practice with bowling machines.
Subject to the terms below, Cricket + Football Shop may repair or replace items deemed to have a manufacturing fault.
- All English Willow bats come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty (including replacements) from the date of purchase.
- Warranty covers blade and handle only; damage to the toe, edges, or shoulders is
excluded, as these areas are vulnerable to mishits. - Manufacturers may choose to repair, replace, or decline a claim after inspection.
Please note: surface cracks and normal wear and tear are not covered and are expected with natural use.
The warranty does not apply to:
- Bats with removed manufacturer stickers or labels
- Damage to the toe, edges, or shoulders
- Improper use or extended use
- Damage from bowling machines, non-leather/composite balls, or Yorkers
- Water, moisture, or heat damage
- Over-oiling or poor bat preparation
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, such as, but not limited to,
hitting the bat on the ground/pitch while batting or running - Third-party repairs or alterations
- Use of cheap or hard balls
- Bats with thread tied around the face
- Normal wear and tear or ageing of the product
A bat will not be replaced for handle breaks, edge/surface cracks, or toe breaks.
- Kashmir Willow bats include a 6-month warranty.
- Kit bags and protective gear carry a 6-month warranty for split seams, stitching, zippers, or wheels (scuffs or worn areas are excluded).
- Helmets have a 6-month warranty, covering only the micro-adjustment feature - not impact damage.

Shoes come with a 6-month warranty for stitching, spikes, or sole issues (normal
wear and tear excluded).
If a product can be repaired without affecting its performance or shape, the repair will be done free of charge and will not qualify for an exchange.
Replacement of any product does not restart or extend the warranty period - it continues from the original purchase date.
Warranty claims will be processed with one of three outcomes:
- Product repair
- Replacement (when approved by the manufacturer)
- Refund or store credit
Replacements are offered on a like-for-like basis (same brand, model, year, and size). If
unavailable, a store credit will be issued for the original amount paid.
Processing time for repairs or replacements is up to 20 business days, though we always
aim to complete them sooner.
Please ensure your item is sent with registered post or a courier service with a signature on delivery. Without proof of delivery, we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
Return shipping for warranty or repairs will be the customer’s responsibility in all
cases.
Returns and Exchange
We offer a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee or exchange for unused items. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order, and we’ll make it right.
Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
For exchanges, the new item will be dispatched only after the original product has been received by Cricket + Football Shop.
When returning items, please use registered post or a courier with signature on delivery and keep your proof of postage. We cannot take responsibility for lost items without delivery confirmation.
Return postage costs for change of mind or exchanges are the responsibility of the
sender.
In cases where an error was made on our part, we’ll cover the return shipping costs.
You will receive an email once your returned item is received. Processing time for returns or exchanges is up to 7 business days, though we aim to process them sooner.
Additional postage fees will apply for all exchanges, as well as any price difference
between items. You’ll be notified by email when your replacement is dispatched.
Refund Policy for Cancellations
Debit/Credit Card Payments
For cancellations due to change of mind, incorrect product selection, or external factors
beyond our control, the following fees apply:
- Domestic card transactions: 2% of the total value
- International card transactions: 4.5% of the total value (includes 3% card fee + 1.5%
currency conversion)
Zip & Afterpay Payments
A 6% cancellation fee applies to all cancelled orders.
PayPal Payments
For PayPal orders, 100% of the amount will be refunded - PayPal does not charge
cancellation fees.
These charges exist because payment service providers charge non-refundable fees to
Cricket + Football Shop on each transaction.
